EXTREME HUGGING IT OUT

Woof, Kids!

Happy Hump-Day!

I was just thinking how this snap looks sort of like a crazy negative, don't you think? But, as it is the holiday season, Florida-style, we thought this nice blue tinted pix would cool things down (imaginary winter, if you will) and get us into the proper frame of mind for being all about...'tis the season, sleigh bells ringing and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Working for ya? If not, clutch an ice cube for an hour...that ought to do it. Why did Ohio just cross my mind? Hm.

Mutts, we trotted down to City P to gaze upon the tree and junk, again. Yawn. My dainty paws (if we can pretend it's winter here, we can pretend I have dainty paws) are gonna need a mani/pedi, very soon. All his strutting and huffing and puffing is forcing the Diva-Dog to ratchet up casting the old side-eye in the general direction of the peeps.
Still, as I rest my pensive, morning-hair, head and dewy eyes upon a random arm...I reflect...yes, reflect and, well, gasp for air in the clutches of this nut in the white robe. I appreciate the hugs and adoration, but I'm not sure if this is an adoring hug or ruthless choke-hold. Yikes, cough and hack!!

Well, over-zealous affection aside, perhaps I shouldn't complain so much about the peeps zippin' me all 'round The Palm Beaches like some kind of...well, I hate to say it...non-diva-average-run-of-mill-mutt-dog. Ahem.

See, there was a little event here this past weekend. An amazing marathon of amazing athletic types, wearing amazing athlete-people attire.  It was, amazing.

We're not overly familiar with this concept 'round our doghouse. We had to Google the word Marathon, just for good measure. My paws throb and my expressive eyes want to clamp shut at the thought of all that running and running and running. Honestly, it makes me really appreciate my lazy-azz peeps...a lot. Yep, gonna zip the sassy dog-lips and keep smiling my approval in the general direction of my two. Lazy is as lazy does and we're absolutely good with that.

Bark at me!!
