THE MAJORS ARE NO MINOR LEAGUERS
Woof, Kids!
Listen, I want you mutts and pups to give a wag-of-the-tail to the new kid hanging out with the Majors. Meet, Moby Dick Major.
How cute is this guy? The Diva thinks...very, very cute!
You will remember, sadly, the Major family lost their beloved dog, Purdy, a short time ago. So heartbreaking, but they have hearts as big as the state of Texas and they have just rescued and given, Moby Dick, a brand new family to love and be loved in return.
Here's the word about Moby, just slightly edited for the blog, from the Majors...
He weighs about 24 pounds, is a male Dachshund/Corgi mix about 6 months old. He came here (to the shelter) with 3 siblings about 5 months ago and they were all very sick. The other two have been adopted just recently and poor Moby was left behind. He is house and crate trained and is a little on the submissive side does like to play fetch The other families that adopted his siblings are more than happy with the other dogs.
Little Moby is one fortunate puppy as Moolie knows, first-hand, all about being a part of this partik family. It's the berries and then some.
The Diva will keep you posted on the progress of all things Moby Dick Major.
Bark at me!

Good September 1st Morning Diva.
Hip-hip-hooray for the Majors and Moby Dick. I am so happy for Moby and his sibs. I can relate to being rescued. The humans that had me first only liked puppies. So, when I turned a year old, they didn't want or like me anymore. They kept me in a cage (not a crate), took up my food/water dishes at 6 p.m., and didn't play.
But Mommy and Daddy came to my rescue and gave me a wonderful home full of love and treats. I'm so glad they did.
Have a good life Moby Dick (you little cutie butt).
High paws and nubbin' wags to you Diva.

Well, Bitsy, the Diva-Dog thinks both YOU and Moby are super fortunate to have found such loving homes!!!
We just don't get some people who get canines and have no idea what is involved. Moolie did mucho homework before finding the Diva and it was so worth it. Why people get dogs (or cats, for that matter) and just think it will 'ALL WORK OUT ON ITS OWN"...it just, well, kinda crazy.
Anyway, most humans do the right thing (we want to believe) and treat their pets (whatever kind) like family.
Wag-o-the-tail to you, Bitsy, you sweet little pup!!
