DEDICATED, WITH LOVE, TO PURDY, RIP BUDDY
Woof, Kids!
We dedicate the blog today to this sweet Texas kid, Purdy. Please, may she rest in peace. No matter the circumstances, a loss such as this is always so difficult and we are truly saddened for her human family.
Received a message from friends in Fort Worth, Texas, yesterday about the loss of their dog, Purdy...I am sharing part of it with you today.

FROM THE MAJORS...On a sad note, Purdy, one of mom & dads dogs was at the vet recovering from surgery she had this past Thursday, had a
stroke this morning. Mom was able to make it to see her and visit with her for an hour or so this morning and they were waiting on some test results so mom headed back to the office. They called mom just after she left and told her Purdy had passed away, they said she just waited for her to come see her and as soon as she left she died. The vet had her on medication and she did not suffer, she just died; I'm thankful that she was there when it happened.

Purdy was an older dog that came in to the shelter a few years ago and because of her age and the fact that she had heartworms they weren’t able to adopt her out. However, mom saw that she still had a sparkle and Purdy stole her heart. She went through the heartworm treatment and was ok. About 6 months ago [or so] she started having tumors appear and had been in for surgery a few times, most recently this past Thursday. Purdy was very special to all of us.

I am so sad for the Majors, this is such a hard time for our people. Purdy will be in good company, our friend Toby just went to the Rainbow Bridge and I know he will be there to play with Purdy.
I wish I could be there to kiss the tears But instead I will send a Cyber Cavalier (((Huggle)))
