HOT RODS AND A COOL PALM BEACH RIDE

Woof, Kids!

Now, just where are all those Palm Beach celebrities? I can't see anything with the top down and my luxurious fur flying into my expressive eyes.

Yeah, my peeps decided to end the July 4th, weekend by zipping the top down on Gaz's jalopy and gliding our dreamy selves along Ocean...the street Ocean AND the Atlantic body of salt water. So, we did.
I will, reluctantly, admit that it was the most amazing evening, and ride. Perfect. Palm Beach, er, "The Island", is gorgeous and we enjoyed casting our gaze upon the riches and bitches (did I say that out loud) over there. Mutts, you should see the shrubs. Forget those overgrown and reedik mansions (may as well forget 'em, huh?) they call home...it's the shrubbery that will amaze. Seriously. How the heck do they get it to grow SO tall and lush and square? Well, pretty certain we know how they get it so square, but the rest is a mystery. They really, really want their privacy. What are they hiding anyway? Listen, if I had one of those stone and mortar domiciles...I would immediately cut the shrubs and invite all the poor slobs, like us, to just have a feast for the eyes.
Before we let go of our weekend, completely, here is a snap of what we witnessed from our tenth floor balcony on the evening of the 4th. This was post-fireworks traffic. These idiots, I mean patriotic souls, are heading toward I95 from The Island. It was just nuts. What you do not see in this snap is the three of us...sipping wine and toasting the country and cheering for these saps, whenever the lane moved an inch.

Gaz, having too much wine (kidding, okay), leaned over and shot this one...straight down. That nit-wit (the one in the car below, not the two I was with on the balcony) to the right is exiting our building. We were taking bets on their chances of entering that lane of traffic before Sunday dawn. I zoomed this one, just a little, so you could see the cars better. Cheers to the red, white and blue and any courteous drivers in The Palm Beaches...there are some...a few.

Bark at me!!

Hey Diva. We knew there would be photos. Aren't most humans riddick? I mean, do you see any critters out there? No, we have better sense.

The hedges are great. My Daddy did what you suggested should be done. He cut the hedges down so the flowers could be seen by everyone. Mad nana sorts upset but she got over it when she saw how it looked. You see, we have nothing to hide like those uppity, ups. Maybe they run around in their birthday suits. Now that's a scary thought.

You look wonderful, with your luxurious fur flowing in the Atlantic breeze. Now I'm sad. I just have slick and shiny fur, very short not long and gorgeous like you.

Oh well, one can't have every thing, can one? Wow!! That sounded like those uppity, ups.

High paws and nubbin' wags to ya.

      Bitsy,
Human are reedik!! Gotta love 'em though...for the treats and toys, if nothing else, huh?

Listen, the shrubs on Palm Beach are like in Beverly Hills. They are 30 feet high, and I'm not kidding. I'm going to go back and get some snaps of them. You will be amazed.

Sounds like your Nana is touchy and/or out-of-sorts, a lot. Bless her heart. Guess she is entitled.

Thank you for the sweet compliment. Your smooth and shiny coat is great though...no tangles...nothing to catch in it when you are outside having your amazing adventures.

Gee, I'm disappointed to learn one can't have everything. Bummer.

Well, I will just have to happy with what I have I suppose.

      Have a lovely Wednesday, Bitsy.

      A fluff-o-the-tail to ya, kid.
