Let's kick-off this fabulous fourth of July weekend with some snaps of the Diva being all respectful, grateful and patriotic. It's a Grand Old Flag!!
We stop this weekend, and observe and recognize this important holiday and give thanks for being an American and all that that implies...high paws to the Red, White and Blue!!!
Okay, so what if our "flag pole" is a little bit urban in nature...the sentiment is just as meaningful. We salute our country this weekend and know how fortunate we are to be Americans. It's not in every country that you have the freedom and opportunity to write some super important blog like this one. Right?
Yes, the Diva-Dog is feeling all thankful and what-not, but I must inject that these darn, hard and crumbly, Milk Bone things Gaz and Moolie are attempting to pass off as "hot dogs"...just are not doing it for me. Who are they kidding? What? They think I don't know they have some plump and fab "franks" from Omaha Steaks sitting there in the freezer...just waiting. Bring 'em on.
BTW, if you will indulge this mutt for a second...as we celebrate all things red, white and blue...Gaz, Moolie and the Diva-Dog celebrate something special as well. July 1st, marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of the cavalierkingcharlesdiva.com blog site. So, sending a high paw of thanks to all you mutts and pups and felines and humans and sub-humans, for the support you have given me!! You guys are "THE DAWG"...and I mean that, from the bottom of my glamorous, yet giving, heart.

The Diva-Dog? Heck, I'm just gonna hang out here, waiting for those Omaha Frank Dogs and watch for the old "rocket's red glare"!!! Wait, I will actually be hiding under the bed when the rocket's starting glaring and booming. How can something that looks so gorgeous be so loud and so scary???

Happy Friday Diva. We are all about the red, white and blue around my digs. We have our flag waving on high out front and a gorgeoue bow on our barn (it's really a storage building) by my back yard.
We are fortunate to live in the land of the free and land of the brave.
I also spend time under the bed or Mommy's feet when those rockets start glaring. Mommy's feet is actually the safest place to be. She is a fab protector of small, scared Bostons or anything else that is spooky.
As for the hot dogs...yum, yum. I just love all things hot and dogy but w/o mustart and relish. Mommy has to give me my allergy pills hidden in a cold frank. She thinks I don't know it's in there but I do.
