THE ROAD TO MIAMI MANIA

Miami Mania Begins At The Train Station In West Palm Beach
Woof, Kids!
You hounds ever watch reality television? You know I do, just a little bit.
Now, I'm not talking junk like, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. Who are they kidding? Celebutards is more like it on that one, and I've never even seen the show. Even a lowly blogger has some standards. That's right.

No, I mean real, reality. Ahem. Click that remote right on over to HGTV or The Food Network for top-shelf programming. For real. Don't laugh. We just can't get enough of all that house-selling and buying and fixing 'em up drama all over HGTV...for better or worse (sometimes much worse, IMO).
Over on the old FN, you've got all those fab and flabby, er, fabulous chefs and cooks and sous-chefs and food dogs. Hold on! Okay, I'm back. Had to run grab a pupcorn to munch.
Point is, and there really is one, that Moolie and Bran (or B, or Brandon or whatever you want to call him, he's good with it, as long as you keep it nice, okay?) are starring in their own little saga for the next few weeks and, like it or lump it, we will be sharing it...right here on the old blogster.
Kids, I decided I liked the phrase, starring in...and it IS our blog. So, we are, THE stars of the Miami Mania, blog-saga. I mean, if you can't "star in" your very own little blog, why even bother to have one in the first place.
First episode of, Miami Mania?
Well, you must stay tuned for all the deets and see what happens when Bran blows on into Dade County to check things out.
Heck, this reality blog thing could follow him all through his first year of law school. Hm. This is really getting exciting and I see a television opportunity simmering.
Gotta go and call Oxygen or Lifetime or The Food Network or HGTV or Cartoon Network.
Mutts, one more tiny thing, and I think you may already know this. Reality junk on the tube? I have to 'fess up that we do, and we are not proud of this in the least, watch, Tori & Dean, on Oyxgen. It is just such pointless, drivel, that we can not turn away. Plus, it comes on at 11:00 p.m. ET, so what else you gonna watch? Does that sound plausible? No? What does? Tell us. We need to justify watching such mind-numbing drivel. Throw us a bone here.
Bark at me!

Loving your cute photos on the blog Pam. I do have to question the Tory & Dean reality show...really? hahaha. I suppose it's ok to watch if you do admit it's like a car accident & you can't turn away. My guilty pleasure is The Girls Next Door. Now that Hef has these new young blondies, it's just not that interesting. I wasn't a fan of Kendra & heard she actually is set up to have her own reality show. I don't think I could sit through it, but may have to peek at least once.....

Ha, ha, ha. Thank you for the compliment and slam all in one comment
Nat, pardon me, but it is TORI. I, as in eye...not Y, as in Y in the heck do we watch this reedik show. Okay, I feel better having straightened you right on out!!!
Hey, I forgot all about TGND. Oh, we watch that too. Or rather, we DID. No longer. Has the new season started? Those new "girls" look super crummy...on the old crummy scale.
Yeah, the preggers, Kendra, does have her own show. I just can not take her dumb laugh...well, she's not THAT dumb...she has her own show and all I have is the blog. So, who's dumb? Uh-huh!!!
Please give my sweet Tasha a big hug for me. Tell her the white sofa she loved in Ohio is gone, BUT we have new white one that she would love so very pretty lounging upon.

Diva..shhhhh...we secretely watch T & D too!!
Did you see the one where their dog poo'd all over the nursery...That Hollywood dog received no special treatment ...He should be as lucky as us..right!
Hopin' B finds something nice soon...does he speak espanol?? May come in handy in Miami...I'm just sayin'...
Adios!

sí, él habla español, con fluidez. ..will es muy útil, verdaderamente!!!
We are hopeful that he will find something, very soon.
T, I respect your honesty and love, love, love that you are brave enough to admit you watch T&D. Yeah, we did see that partik episode. I was thinking maybe the poor little guy needed to be taken for a walk or just let outside, you know.....

Hey Reality Diva.
Having your very own reality blog, how cool is this gonna be? Very cool, that's how. I'm so excited, my nubbin' is quiverin'.
And what better subjects that Moolie and her big B. Man, is this going to be great? You bet it is.
Granted reality shows bites but who cares? Right? As for me, I love 'em. Most are so lame, they are funny. And unless you put an old movie in the DVD player (which you've seen a bazillion times), what else is on at 11 p.m.?
I'm ready for the next episode of Miami Mania.
High paws and nubbin'wags to you and all things reality. Did I really say that? Bitsy

Whew! Bitsy, you really came through for me on this one.
You came up with some really good excuses for us to watch lame reality television.
Thanks, for throwing us a bone!!!
Keep wagging that nubbin' and stay tuned.

Diva,
I LOVE HGTV - House Hunters is a good one! And, I absolutely watch Tori and Dean, as well as Denise Richards - It's Complicated. The new season started this past Sunday right after Kendra's show (so Nat, you are right Kendra does have her own show and it premiered this past Sunday).
Miami Mania sounds great! Oxygen or E! or something is sure to pick it up!

Gretch,
Man, totally forgot about the new DR season. Don't you just LOVE Irv? It is Irv? Anyway, her Dad.
You are just the bestest to send such utter and complete Diva support.
You not only threw us a bone...you threw an entire pot roast of support.
Listen, when we get "picked up" by one of those stations...we will be expect you to come on down and be a part of it. Oh, yeah. It's gonna be big. Huge. Huger than huge, don't ya know!!!
Is it August yet? We can't wait to see you.
Woof!!

I am pretty sure I love reality tv! I'm sad to admit it, but won't deny it! The whole fam (and by whole I mean T and I and Cal, Dixie, and Duke) totally love some HGTV! I'm pretty sure that a few of those shows were inspiration for the outdoor living space project!
Now, onto the emareassed to admit list: The Bachelor/Bachelorette (mainly bc there is a hillarious blog that follows it), TGND (but not anymore since those new twins are on it), T&D (hello, I watched EVERY episode of 90210 and am a sucker for anything that can be remotely tied to it), DWTS (Gilles and those hot dance moves were more than enough reason for Dixie and I)...and sadly, I am sure there are others! LOL
I do get comfort in the caveat that I DVR these, so it's not like I watch them immediately or change plans to see them. Ok, either way, it's sad! LOL
Trapper would definitely want me to make sure and clear his name from the T&D affiliation...and probably most ofbthe others too...but I think he secretly sort of likes all but T&D!
Cal, Dixie, and Duke like them all, except when they are sleeping and some yappy mutt on tv wakes them up. Me, I think it's funny to see them look around for the noise...and hillarious to watch Duke wake up growling with his neck hair on end!
Oh, and please add The Hills to my list of reality shows as well!

Sabrina, you are now, and will always be...MY GIRL!!!
Heck, your list makes me realize that I have not provided FULL REALITY SHOW WATCHING DISCLOSURE. So, here goes with all I can think of...like you, many hit the old DVR, thankfully, ha.
Tori & Dean-I'm going to say, straight up, Gaz watches this with me. He does read and other stuff, while it's on, but he's watching, oh, yeah.
DWTS (forgot that one)...could they please, please, pretty-please, bring Giles back...just ONE more season???? Please and thank you.
TGND (no more though, the "twins" are, um, ugh)
Many things HGTV-you know how I love to decorate!!
Many things Food Network-Paula, Tyler, Giada...you know how I love to cook.
Denise Richards (gotta catch up on this season, as I forgot to DVR, well, forgot it, completely)
Whew. Okay. I think this really is the humiliation list. Just do NOT ask me what lame celeb Web sites I visit. We need SOMETHING to remain guilty about, right?
Should we start a support group or reality show rehab? What ya think?
Reply to this
I think that as long as we have wine, we have a support group!
Reply to this
Indeed. Wine is always a good way to jump-start any good support group!!!
Sweetie, YOU could never...ever, resemble any nutty D-List celeb in ...in any way.. Nope.
Let me think though, IF we were to start some sort of "Steps" program...hm...just what WOULD that include????
I'm going to toss some out...
1. Apologize to and forgive yourself for watching dumb reality shows.
2. Continue to watch and all reality shows, with total and complete abandon. Guilt-free.
3. Drink wine while watching above.
4. DVR said "reality" drivel for future and repeated viewings...late at night...eating junk food...with wine.
5. Apologize to and forgive your friends and loved ones for...a. forcing them to watch with you and b. that hey didn't remind you that the season had begun
So, that is a start. Got more????
