PALM BEACH IS ALIVE WITH GOODWILL

There Is Never A Doorperson Around When You Need To Get Inside To Shop!

Woof, Kids!

Update...well, we did it. Yep. We cruised on OV-AH to "The Island" on Saturday and made...the drop of Goodwill. Okay, we donated our stuff to  the Goodwill, but making a drop just sounds so much more dramatic, don't ya think? You know how I love me some dramz, especially on a Monday morning.

Mutts, let me 'splain something to you. The Diva-Dog has NEV-AH seen a GW to top this one. Oh, it's small and all that, but it is like none I have ever looked upon with my knowing and expressive eyes. I mean check it out in the snap above. Impressive, huh? Well, not quite as impressive as the Cavi looking in the window, er, door, but not too shabby.

I fear I may be, just a teeny-weeny bit, lagging behind the times. See, I had absolutely no idea that such a thing as a Goodwill Boutique existed? Sorry, I had no clue and we make tons of donations. Just never seen a GWBoo. You heard me. Is it possible that I am the only one so uninformed? Prolly.

Typically, here is how it goes down 'round our digs. The peeps dig through their junk (and Moolie just adores buying all things...clothes, shoes, bags, dishware...if they make it...she buys it) and create huge piles which are boxed or bagged and heaped into the jalopy. We hop in, well, I hop and they sort of fall into the heap and we head on out for the nearest Goodwill collection center. You've seen 'em, right? Yep, I'm talking about those trailer things, with no cabs, parked in a lot such as Lowe's or similar. Some nice person, helps (or not) us unload the donation items, a tax-deduct form is slapped in our hands and we are our way. Done.

Well, that ain't how it goes down over on The Island. No trailer without a cab resting in some parking lot (well, no place to park, at all).  You haul the junk to the back of the boutique (they help) and fill out your little form. Oh, you do have to weave through all the patrons getting their shop on, of which there are many, to get your stuff to the back.  Evidently the word is out to most 'round these parts that this place is the shopping berries and then some. Most-def.

Kids, I am telling you that the next time you are in Palm Beach, you MUST go to the GWBoo and shop. Listen, I recommend that even if you are not planning to come anywhere near Florida, much less Palm Beach, you get your fluffy selves right on down here, ASAP. Wait, we aren't totally certain that the shopping is all that as we didn't even take time to stop and browse. Well, how can it be bad? It's a boutique on "The Island", and that just sounds elegant.

Bark at me!.
