MUTTS MOVING ON THE MAP

Woof, Kids!

Ah, the Diva-Dog is just stretching and yawning on the comfy leather sofa this Wednesday and enjoying the dog-ear out of my dog-den.

But, my buddy, Murphy, to you...The Murph, to me...has moved on up to Minnesota from North Carolina. That gorgeous mutt just packed his treats and his favorite toy, the Fat Cat, and got himself new digs. Oh, with his peeps, natch. Well, sort of. That la-de-da hound has two homes. It is a long, yet riveting, saga. Just trust that, The Murph, has it made in the shade, er, snow...he is a pampered pooch and that is a fact, Jack.

Of course, Minnesota, that lake-n-snow-laden state, is lucky to have someone as fluffy and sassy as that awesome, Golden R. The word Golden...just makes everything sound more elegant and classy. Hey, I think I want to be called a Golden Cavalier. Yes, please refer to me by that moniker from this moment forward. Wait, hold on...Moolie is saying something...about...golden that turns to green...okay, never mind...just call me Cavi.

Anyhoo, check out the un-green and very golden, Murphy, in the pix above. He's smiling he's so excited to get to The Soda (please, may I have some creative license here?). Seeing him smiling like that just makes me smile. Yes, canines, most-def, smile. If you don't recognize a smiling dog when you see it...tough!! Now, smiling kitty-cats? Well, that's another story.

As we sink our teeth into the topic of moving-mutts, while Murphy is moving up the map...that sweetie-sweet Ohio kid (almost as sweet as me), Tasha, is moving OV-AH on the map to the Big Apple. That's right, New York Ci-TAY. The city that never sleeps, the home of fab fashion, food and fun. Alright, and museums and a cool library and all things intellectual. Happy? Tash, just remember...if you can make it there...wait, she's already made it, well, her peeps. Yeah, something 'bout one of them being a high-falutin' lawyer in the Wall Street zone. Yep. Well, all that aside, Tasha will just have to "make it" in the grassy areas of Central Park. Bark on, kid!!

Hounds, time for me to strut my fluffy self off the sofa and onto the Pool Deck. Hey, not everyone can do their biz in the Big A, okay?

Bark at me.

    Reg,
Sorry it's been a while since I've commented, but I have been enjoying your blog regularly! I have to add that The Murph couldn't wait to leave North Carolina and head on up to Minnesota with his daddy. I mean, the smile says it all!! I miss him terribly, but I know that he is having a great time walking and playing ball in the much cooler state of MN - AND avoiding prime flea season here. He's looking forward to swimming in the lake this summer - you know Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes!

Love and miss you Reg and hope I can see you soon!

      Murph,

Great to hear from you and glad you are "digging" your new digs. Um, Murph, I was TRYING to keep the deets of your move a little bitty bit on the DL. You know, protecting the privacy of your peeps and all that jazz. YOU, however, let the old cat right on outta that designer bag!!! So much for putting my protective paws out there for ya. Good thing the NC maniacs aren't devoted readers of my blog.

Okay then, hope you are lovin' the dog life up there in Canada, um, Minni-soda. I just want you to know that when The Gretch (or as we call her, The Pumpkin) flounces on down to the Sunshine State sometime soon, I will sit by her and take good care of her. Now don't be jealous...she is gonna be mostly up there in the land of the water with you a lot more than in the land of blazing sun with me.

Love and tail wags, the Diva-Reg.....
