NO DOODY-DO IN WEST PALM BEACH
Woof, Kids!
Just a quick hey to that crazy kid, Bitsy...you the DAWG...just sayin', and she knows why!
Brrr, it's kinda cold here in West Palm Beach today, but the Diva-Dog is, just a tad, hot under the sparkly collar.
Okay, here's the deal with the blog today...it's sort of a question or editorial comment (Moolie told me all about editorial comments) on a rather...how shall I say this...well, doggie poo, do, doody, poop...crap, you get the idea of the topic today.
First, I want to give props to Tampa (one of the cleanest cities in the country, btw) for their attention to everything relating to this topic in their parks and "dog areas". Yep, they are super-groovy about providing doggie-do bags and necessary receptacles for same. Every park, every dog walking area is covered, so as NOT to be covered...no prob in proper disposal of "stuff".
So, what's up here in WPB? No doggie-do allowed? Must be 'cause there are NO doggie bags in the parks or urban-land...at least none that we've found, AND even worse and more my point today...no receptacles. Huh? WTH (what the hey)!!!!
Peeps of WPB need to understand that crap happens, even here. Oh, yeah.
As urban dwellers and earth care-takers, we have our own bags (Gaz and Moolie are TOTAL sticklers for picking up after me, hear that Green Hornet?), so that's not the sitch. No, we're good on bags, even have them attached to the old leash thing. Mutts, we just want to find a place for proper disposal. Haven't yet, even here at our gorgeous condo building where they take fantastic care of every possible detail 'cept this little one!
Hounds, I can share this factoid...others about town don't seem to be so diligent about clean-up as we are seeing crap here and there, but the blame can NOT be placed on dog owners, Nope. What the heck you 'spose to do...carry it around in your danged pocket and on the elevators? Pleasant.
So, come on WPB, take a cue from Tampa...put some doggie trash cans around town. It can't cost that much and would be quite beneficial for the old planet.
Oh, and if we are wrong (we ARE new to town) and there are "waste" cans all OV-AH this beautiful city...never mind, just tell us where to look and we're good.
Bark at me, kids!

Well, Diva. Here we go again. What is up with WPB? Do the town fathers have critters (i.e. dawgs)? As I said, mommy can't walk very well but when we go to Randol Mill Park she always has a do-bag with her for my business. There is no partik place for it but there are trash cans all over as well as at the malls, on the streets,or just about anywhere. Come on WPB, get with the rest of the world and provide for the pooches and their peeps. Maybe all the town fathers are cat peeps ( nothing against cats, I love to chase my neighbors).
Have a great day in WPB. Give that Moolie of yours a snuggle for me.
Tail wags and high paws to ya'll. Bitsy

Bits, glad you feel my pain on this and glad to hear you feel the same. Hey, there are a few random "cool-cats" hanging 'round here, so maybe the rule the town. Whatev. Tail wags back at ya and take care of your mommy.
