DIVA DOG DOESN'T DREAM OF DISNEY

I Prefer To Do My Dreaming In Dog Ears

Woof, kids!

Whew...the Diva has tired dogs (my paws, you crazy canines) from all the weekend antics. You know how it is in the madcap world of a Diva. If it's not one soiree, it's another. So this weekend it was a Disney one. Zip-A-De-Do-Da! My, oh, my...what a wonderful day...er, days...at the kennels.

Let me tell you that my peeps packed me up, with all my goodies, and we zipped right on over to everything Disney. Pups, when you wish upon a star, know what happens? You land your fur in some dog-house disguised as Disney For Dogs.  Get me that star on the phone!!!

Yes, I was hangin' out with a few yapping, yet, hip hounds at Animal Kingdom, the Magic Kingdom and Epcot...three days of rockin' round the...kennels. Oh, man, who asked for this scene? Okay, okay...I had my comfy and stylish bed and my personal little cover to plop and prop my paws. Moolie and Gaz even made sure to leave me chew toys, food and snacks...I have to give them props for that anyway. Still, off they went, smiling and waving as I was left to listen and look at various and assorted packs of mangy mutts.  The howling and whining made my ears hurt and was so pathetic. I had to ask myself if these pups had any pride. I am happy to say my behavior was exemplary. My whining and whimpering was limited to just a few minutes and it was the saddest of the bunch. If you're going to whine, do it right.

Admittedly, being at "Camp Disney" is better than being dropped at "Camp Vet".  Seriously, not that horrible. Plus, the peeps were so happy to see me after their lively adventures were done each day, they gave me mega-attention and made a huge fuss. Natch, the Diva-Dog was quite ho-hum to see them.  Not really, but keep that on the down-low, 'kay?

Kids, I'm giving it to you straight...when they say Disney is where dreams come true and is the happiest place on earth...maybe-but they failed to check in with the canine kids...a kennel is a kennel...by any name...even Disney.

    Diva,
I know what you mean about kennels and creative names. My peeps are leaving me for Texas this weekend and are taking me to "Camp Bow Wow." I have my orientation today and am very excited to play with other dogs all day, but I will have to sleep in a "cabin," which is really just a creative name for a kennel. My peeps are all excited because there are camper-cams that they can access from the Internet to make sure I'm having fun. I'll let you know how it goes and will be sure to send some photos of my camping adventure!

Wish me luck. Lots of love,
    The Murph
