DIVA'S BEST FRIEND IS GAZ

Diva's Best Friend Is...My Gaz

Woof, Kids!

I have a little story to tell you about my best friend. Yep, the one with me in the photo above.

Truly, I am one happy girl to have Gaz in my life. You know how they talk about dogs being all loyal and true and blah, blah, blah? Well, that guy up there is all that and more.

See, Gaz and Moolie lived in Ohio for a while and Moolie sort  of talked a lot about getting a pup  Oh, much to my chagrin, I'm not the first dog in their lives. It hurts, but it's the truth. See, long ago, there was this little Lhasa Apso that hung with them. Pasha, by name.  After Pasha, my peeps had cats and were fine with that. Hectic lives made cats purrrrfect around their domicile. But, one day, in Ohio, Moolie longed for another canine, natch.

Although Gaz and Moolie are pretty much in synch on things, not on this issue. So, no Ohio canine came to be in the house of Moolie (I can rhyme, badly). Alas, they hit the road for Florida and...happily, here I am. Moolie found me and Gaz was okay and very supportive of it. Still had reservations about how I would fit into their lives.

I freely admit that I did my best to try and impress Gaz. I pulled out all the cute puppy stuff and he fell for it.  Being the giant loving and soft-hearted person that he is, very, very quickly...I had Gaz wrapped around my little paw. Not only is he my best friend, he plays better than anyone I can imagine, takes me on amazing walks to chase lizards and is always there for Moolie when she needs him when there is a pet emergency. So, I just wanted to take a little blog space and tell all you guys what an amazing man by person is. He is fun and funny, trust-worthy, loyal, loving, sharing, caring, giving and has so much integrity and kindness in his heart and soul. He never wrongs man nor beast, never has a harsh word for me or anyone. He's someone you should all know because he's one of a kind. Oh, don't get me wrong...the Mool and I...nah, we don't tell him all this. I mean we gotta keep him on his toes and we can't let all this bragging on him go to his head, not that it ever would. He just isn't wired that way. Not my best human friend, Gaz.

Good morning Diva Reg, long time no woof. How are you doing? I hear you are moving on up to the 17th floor soon. BIG DADDY let me look at the pictures Moolie sent, and it sure looks nice. You know that Moolie will just snap her fingers and the new place will be ready for an Architectural Digest photo shoot! Damn her!

BIG DADDY was on vacation last week and he hung out with me the entire time. It was so nice snuggling up with him on the couch for those many, many naps.

Did you seem my new doggie stairs? I think Moolie posted a picture of them and I have to say, they are too cool. BIG DADDY loves me so much. I know he prefers more decorative chachka around the house, but it doesn’t matter to him as long as it helps me.

I saw your Halloween photos, and all I have to say is - you sure get around town!

Reggie, I understand that there are a few new and very nice looking gentleman dog callers in the building that you’ve been sniffing up. You must know that I am jealous. BIG DADDY explained to me that even though I am a TXPugStud , it’s the long-distance aspect of a potential relationship with you that is standing in the way. You know, now that the Straight Talk Express plane has become available [don’t get me started] I can send it for you and we can walk down the “doggie stairs” and live happily ever after…just let me know/

I love you and BIG DADDY sends his love to you and your people.

Pudgy, I'm so happy to hear from you. Yes, I checked out those new stairs...STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN...I mean naps on the couch IS heaven, right? You and Big Daddy, all cuddled and catching some zzzz's. Pudge, be sure to keep your feet stretched out (ahem) so that BD keeps a safe distance.

Hey, did you see yourself in the slide show? You look super cute, er, handsome.

Things in the park have been pretty quiet lately. Not many pups to nuzzle or sniff and I'm trying to be more sophisticated about my lizard chasing. You gave me some good advice about all that and you were right. Gota keep stuff like that on the DL, huh?

Pudge, you are the DAWG. I tell that to everyone.

Hello Diva Reggie, It was nice to read that some pup other than me feels about her peeps the way I feel about mine. My Daddy had to retire this past May (or was it Juvember?). Having him home with me is great. Sometimes he doesn't feel well, but he still has time to play fetch (which he does very well). He says I'm a brat because I'm all over him like a cheap doggiesuit but he doesn't really mean I'm spoiled. Well, maybe I am thanks to my mommy. She is the treat giver. And what wonderful treats she gives. She is always getting something new for me to try. Boy, do my taste buds tingle just thinking about them. My Daddy is a big ole red neck but he has a heart of gold, at least when it comes to me and mommy. I knew your Gaz and Moolie before you came into their live, which by the way, is the greatest thing. My mommy told me about Pasha and the (this pains me to say the word) c-a-t-s and how great your peeps were to them. You are one lucky puppy. That's it from the Texas Boston. Enjoy!!!!!

      Hey, Bits...
Well, it sounds like you have it pretty good over there in Texas. Treats are the best.  I do have some faves, but I'm not all that picky when it comes right down to it.  I can just imagine how much you love to play ball with your daddy...how fun. Ball is just my favorite and I never get tired of it. My mommy is pretty bad as a thrower, but it's still fun. I also like to play tug on toy...you know when you hold onto a toy as tightly as you can and your humans try to pull it away...oh, it's the best. Sometimes I end up swinging a little bit off the ground....wheeeeeee.....
