PAWING AND CLAWING AT THE URBAN RANCH
- Well, I'm not going to say it, not going to say it...TGIF! I know I said I wasn't going to say it, but I can't help it if I just adore the weekends around here. So, too bad...you had to hear that dumb phrase again. Mutts, it's just that I know it brings extra-fun with both peeps and that's not a bad thing, is it? So, my tail gets extra waggy, my ears a little more perky and my fur extra fluffy on Friday. So, TGITW...there, better?!!!
Hairy Hounds, this week brought a trip to that nameless pet-store and another one of my favorite things...pawing and clawing through the "loot bags" back at the "urban ranch". For grins, Moolie always puts one on the kitchen floor and I get to put my snoopy nose inside and pull out whatever I want. Oh, yeah, the Diva-Dog lives large. Listen, there is a growing concern in my heart and head. So help me out here. I so need to know what you guys think of all those creepy canine Halloween costumes and fast. It's true, Moolie lingered over some yesterday while shopping and I'm starting to get worried. Very. Horrors, it could, probably will, really happen...me, in a dumb costume. Hold on, I'm starting to choke, a little. Bark back at me. I need HELP.
- Glimpsed a card from the Pudgster in Texas the other day. It was quite eye-catching as it had a picture of him on the front. Well, kind of him...sort of looked like him...a little. Anyway, thanks for sending it Pudgy, you're the dawg!!

I'd agree that The Diva DEFINITELY deserves props on her humane treatment of lizards, maybe she can teach a young pup around my house! Duke seems to think everything that moves deserves to be chomped on...spiders, grasshoppers, you name it and it's a goner. I will have to agree with the K9 mom of the house though, if it moves, keep it out of the house...us two-legged kind don't like critters of any kind. I'm just glad to know that the critter cleanup at The Diva's house is left to the man of the house too...and I'm sure Trapper will be ecstatic to know that he's not the only guy flying solo on critter duty!
As long as they don't make me a "Hot-Dog" for Halloween...oh the pain!!! Seriously Diva...have you seen it...it made me howl...I'd wear a devil costume any day...but wrapping a bun around me with a stripe of mustard running down my back..I'll be watching for her to pull that one out...That reminds me.... better start putting on those running socks she bought me ...I get much better traction!! Yuk! No, we haven't seen that one around here, but Gaz thought it didn't sound all that bad. Fortunately, Moolie shrieked and said YUK. Actually, I like the idea of a devil costume, it sorta fits on some days. Will keep you posted on costume developments 'round the old condo. I know it's going to come to that. I know it!!! Running socks, eh? Hm, I'm thinking those could really come in handy when I'm out there chasing me some of those small 'tiles with Gaz. Thanks for the tip, Teddy. Bark at ya later.

How are you? We meant to come by much earlier and more often but since we've got a great gift, human pup James our pawrents haven't got a chance to help us.
Thank you very much for linking our blog to yours. We added your name to our friends' list when we first met but it's kinda hard to see since we've had a very long list. Mom wants to redesign our blog to show all our Cav friends' name but OMD... we don't know when she will do it.

Ah, Mimo and Pinot. Woof, Woof, Woof...which means...congrats on the new little human-pup. Ah, does it get any sweeter than that? I think not. Happy to link you guys, as I am very, very particular about my friends. You guys have fun with your new gift and don't forget you will always be the number one (1/2 for each) DOG/S of the house.
