YACHTS, TOTS AND COTS
Woof, kids!
- I blog today with my tail between my legs and my head in my paws. Here's an apologetic shout-out to that sweet BOSTON TERRIER from Texas, Bitsy. I am embarrassed to admit that I called her a bulldog in a prior post. Bits, hope you can forgive and forget.
- Our sofa left today. We have no sofa in the condo. What's a dog to do? Is there no end to the trauma for me? What next...they slide some kind of crazy cot in here for me to nap on. Well, just as long as it's a stylish cot...I don't care.
- Been zippin' around Big T today and the things I saw would curl the hairs on your paws. There is a dog-track here. Think of THAT. A place just for tracking dogs. How considerate. I guess I didn't really need to get that microchip afterall. Then there's some guy named Mel. Yeah, he's so considerate he put a sign on a major street just to proclaim that dogs are hot. Um, we KNOW that, Mel, but did you have to put YOUR name on the sign too? Mel's Hot Dogs...kind of bragging, huh?
- Heard a rumor that a certain kid in Texas is thinking about adding a cute 'n cuddly K9-tot to her pack sometime soon. This particular peep has not had a dog-tot in YEARS, so it's gonna be super fun to follow that saga. Just, hope it's gonna be a Cav, but if not I will still welcome it into my pack.
- Am awaiting a pix of that little gorgeous Tampa fluffy-mutt, Sadie. The word is that she is a total "bed-head". You'll see what I mean just as soon as that human of hers coughs up the evidence.
- Oh, remember the "off-leash" kid buzzing around the condo? Haven't seen him again. Hm.
- Wonder how Tasha, Cal, Duke and Dixie are lovin' life with their new Zoom Groom? S. and N. bark at us and give us all the "hairy" deets.
- I think I've been dumped by that vertically-challenged pup called Pudgy. Yeah, it was all lovey-dovey and then nothing. Just like a guy, right? Probably saw some other four-legs that were more attractive. Gaz doesn't call me "toothpick legs" for nothing. Pudgy and Big Daddy, I still love ya.
- Pups, you should see the yachts I can view from the old balcony. Well, you can kinda/sorta see 'em in the photo above. May-jah doings at the Tampa Convention Center. Oh, to be a dog upon the deck of any yacht. Must go now and speak to my peeps about actually getting a yacht, not just taking some crummy snap of one. Yo-ho...a pirate's life for me.

Wow Reg, what a gorgeous view from the condo you have. I would love to jump into that water & catch something fabulous like a stick or something! I love to swim. Then I like to shake the water off all over my Dad
Oh - speaking of Diva, I had my own photo shoot the other day. One of my Mom's friends came over with their professional camera & took some photos of me. This photographer kept calling my name for me to look at him. At some times I blessed him with my good looks, while other times I looked where I wanted

So, an update from the Labs in Texas at Casa de Barnes: The pups have a new dog house, called the "Lab Lounge". The old one was built for 2 (back before we ever thought about more than 2 dogs)...but now that Duke is so high maintenance that he ALWAYS has to be with Cal and Dixie, we had to build a brand new dog house. It was built with lots of love and engineering by the two-legged kind at the house, and it's big enough that 2 people and 3 dogs can fit in there, so just know that Cal, Dixie, and Duke have a new "crib"...well at least one for when they aren't inside!

Okay, we expect to see snaps of these new "digs" ASAP. Wow, I think I'm starting to feel a little jealous of those HOT Texas pups. Yes, I am, definitely. See photos anyway and I will try to make Gaz and Moolie feel guilty. Yep, I like the sound of that.
