Happy to report that there is no dog fur flying around the condo building. Well, at least not due to the swirling and twirling of hurricane Fay over Tampa. If it IS flying...that's another blog.

Yep, much more fun to yap about is the latest condo gossip. Kids, let me tell you about a new mutt I bumped into the other day in the park. This kid was quite cute and we were doing our best to socialize, but, bam, their person made it move along. I'm not gonna soft-paw-it around here, so straight up and down, they were just RUDE. I mean I thought they were some random creatures, as I had not laid my big brown eyes on 'em, ever.
Didn't give it all a second thought. Wait, I did think, for a second, that I was SO happy not to be living in their pack. Mostly, I don't waste my valuable diva-time on things I can not control, so I went about my dog-biz, and whipped back to the condo building and guess what? Yikes, there standing at the key-pad entrance...yes, the new hound, waiting to bound into THIS building. Brother.
Pet owner, still snubbed me. No biggie to this CKCS, I'm a secure and happy mutt and there are plenty of other WAY cool shaggy K9's hanging around.
One MAY-JAH thing did "rub" me the wrong way though...this little arrogant newbie was off-leash. Completely. Totally. In the park...on the street..in the building...just prancing and dancing along, acting all la-de-da...nose in the air,
So, I'm thinking if all the rest of us urban-hounds can play the on-lease game...this pup had better get on-board with the rules. Besides, I really do NOT want to see something unpleasant happen to this little guy, even if he is arrogant. Nah, he's way to cute for that.
Listen, I'm kinda sad. There is THE cutest kid living down the hall and he's moving so he can have a backyard and all that goes with that. He's so super cute that I'm happy he will have a yard, but I'm going to miss seeing him. He's the only one around here, people-wise, that's not much larger than me. Happy new home wishes to him.
Well, I'm bored again, got to leap off this chair and go outside and check out the action in the grassy areas. Oh, I will most-def keep you posted with any updates on the off-leash kid.
