TOM, LIZ AND FUZZY
Woof, kids!
- Big storm 'round town last night. Lots of loud crashing sounds, wind and rain. Swoosh, swish. Pretty fun until we had to step on outside. My feet got all soggy, Moolie was pathetic trying to handle my leash, keys AND the umbrella. Multi-task, her? Not so much.
Naturally, we got kinda soaked and she was all rushing me...not that I wanted to linger out there with all the other mutts doing their stuff in the rain. No, thanks. Oh, except for Tom. Got to see him for a flash and I was feeling pretty frisky and then Mool insulted me in the elevator. But, it was so fun to see him, I was, okay, sort of jumping around and trying to be cute and she sort of...no, she completely DID compare me to another canine (so not to offend, I won't repeat) breed that drives her crazy. I was crushed and she was just being a total grouch. She wanted me to sit and stay and stuff. The ride to the tenth floor takes, like three seconds, not much time to flirt with Tom. Bummer. Best part? MAY-JAH petting from Tom's cutie-cute peep. Ah. made it all worth it and Moolie got all cuddly and normal once she got inside and dried off. What I go through 'round here.Where the heck was/is Gaz during all this? Mystery, but I will sniff it out and get back to you.
- I went extreme-off-leash today. Wowie-Zowie. See, I am always on leash, you already know this factoid. Moolie got crazy today (think that rain soaked through to her brain) and just let me run like a maniac down the hall as fast as I could. We got an unexpected surprise though and it was just super fun for me. Yep. See she always does the old "check the hall" routine...scouts for peeps and dogs and who knows what goes through her mind...then, and only then, am I set free to run down the hall and back. Today, no bag to the chute thing...just me running like Benji. BUT (pause for effect), today the door to the condo at that end of the hall was open...open and empty with some people in it. Yeah, I ran inside with Moolie hot on my heels and tail. Actually, I will admit that I was as shocked as anyone and put the old brakes to the feet pads. So, Mool yanked me up, all sorry, sorry and stuff. The people were quite nice, but, YUK...we got that "Elizabeth Taylor from SATC spiel, AGAIN". Yes, yes.
- Darlings, I have to tell you about the sassiest toy Mool coughed up for me. Actually, I got two. Yes, I AM spoiled. Know an unspoiled Diva? Okay.Anyhoo, some days ago I had the opportunity to dig through Tom's toys. You know, my Boxer buddy mentioned above. Well, I found this fuzzy, furry, roundish thing that was uber-cool. I carried it around while hangin' at his condo, then, zap...yanked from my jaws and paws and tossed back in the bin. So, you guessed it...I now have my very own. I'm not sure, but I don't think it is quite as cute as the other one. Just seemed, I don't know, more fun at Tom's place. Where's the joy, the elation? I'm not complaining. It may SEEM like I'm complaining, but I'm happy. Oh, that's the new plaything in the photo above ...you can see how happy I am. Yes, happy me.
Gotta go now as I need to meditate and reflect on the day, on where the heck is Gaz, toys...running down the hall off-leash...Dingo chews...treats...Zzzzzz!

More and more talk of this Tom...obviously Duke needs to send some more recent pics of his adorable self!

Dearest Dukester, you KNOW you are, by far, the handsomest guy in the LST. Yep, you rock. Oh, and I want to say that I'm happy you are keeping Sabrina on her toes and fingers, more importantly. Kids, here's a nice compliment form that very cool, Sabrina. She sent it to me and I'm posting for her...Can I just say how much I love the "Intellectual Reggie" pic on the home page??? I didn't know the appropriate place to comment, but just wanted to pass along the love!
So, WOOF and BARK to ya, Sabrina...I thought I looked pretty smarty-smart in the pix too.
